In some cases, a Snom IP phone may not respond as expected to a REGISTER/401 dialog.
If you're experiencing trouble with registration, try this:
- Log in to the web interface for the phone
- Under Setup, select Advanced
- On the Behavior tab, look for the "Challenge response on phone" radio button
- Change this from "On" to "Off"
- Select the identity you wish to register, and click Re-Register.
Your phone should now register successfully if your username and password are correct.
